Overpriced however the food was delicious. So many $20+ combos instead of reasonably priced single items. I had a ribeye and it was great. My seafood friends said it was ok.

Went on a Thursday night with some out-of-town family. Our first choice for a crab house was closing too early for our timing so we went here instead. I am, and the visiting family is, from Baltimore so we have high expectations for blue crabs. We ordered a dozen of their 'boat runs', the smallest of the lot, for an appetizer and some sandwiches for dinner. All around the food was pretty good, blue crabs, crab cake, soft shell crab. The service was ok, the waitress was easily confused by our request to have half the crabs with Old Bay and half with no seasoning at all. We were sat in the lounge area at a folding plastic 6 foot table directly in front of the bathrooms, that was probably the worst part of it and it would have been even worse on a busy night I'm sure. Still, overall, it was OK and I'd probably go back.

Sweet, fresh, meaty crabs. Much better than the ones we had in Maryland last week. They were sold out of jumbos so we had jimmies. Thought it was going to be a disappointing meal - boy was I wrong!!! The crabs come right out of Ozzie's backyard. Service was fantastic...you can't come to a crab place expecting a quick meal. Sit, relax and enjoy the fried oysters while waiting for the crabs to steam. I'd return just for another order of those. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from Vero Beach!
(5)Gail G.
Our server was Tara. Super good waitress, definitely would ask for her. I had grilled mahi mahi, really good. My husband had crab cakes, they were so-so. Being from the northeast, it is hard to beat a Maryland crab cake. Would definitely go back.

Fresh seafood and good value. Went on a Tuesday, which is the 45 cent special. I had a dozen Lovely Oysters for just $5.40. Could of had three types of wings or a bunch of other things for 45 cents on Tuesdays. My buddies had grilled fish sandwiches, The Mahi and Grouper were also reportedly very good. The Grouper is local caught and frozen fresh on site. I have a new top choice restaurant for yumminess and value!

What was good: The food - The waitress provided recommendations and both were right on. Very good. Surpassed my expectations. The service - The dining room had a large party for a 60th birthday. I was concerned that the staff could handle anything else and they did a good job. The setting - Ozzie has a river view, but I arrived after dark. When the seasons change, the outdoor tables should be pleasant. What dould be improved: The set up - the new building has a large open dining room upstairs that is well decorated, but with the party, it was loud and crowded. Kitchen and bar is downstairs. It did not look like a smooth lay out. The food is good enough that I will try again under different timing, weather, and crowd conditions.

Was expecting much more and was severely disappointed

Best place around to eat crabs and it is right on the river they catch them out of!! The waitress showed us how to crack and eat them and it is served on a table covered with newspaper and they give you a cracker and clean up is a snap! You cannot beat this place if you want crabs or most any seafood it is an undiscovered secret in Palm Bay.

When I first arrived the parking lot was packed so I anticipated a wait. Much to my surprise and confusion I couldn't find someone to direct me to a table or to let me know I was to seat myself. After a few minutes of feeling like I was possibly in the wrong place the waitress came to the rescue. "seat yourself wherever," she said. So we found a table upstairs outside and waited for our server. I thought Florida had a nonsmoking policy at restaurants I guess I am wrong because the server didn't even tell the lady behind us to put out her cigarette. We decided this was our cue to find a different section. We went back down stairs and ordered our food. (By the way the layout of this place is awful the timing of service also seemed extremely slow. ) I can say the oyster rockafella was really good though. When the "Neptune plater" came out it seemed skimpy, flavorless and lacked any appeal. Did I mention they did not have king crab because of a hurricane!?!? We aren't even in hurricane season I thought. Idk I could be wrong! To round out the review I'd like to say that a $3 plate sharing fee was charged to the $39 "Neptune plater" I think this was pretty tacky of the owner to have this type of charge added to a bill and this will probably be the one reason why I'll never go back. Oh wait one more thing...when we sat down again for the second time another lady lit up a cigarette. One more reason I found this place disgusting.

I went there a few days ago. My friend and I ordered "female+male" crabs, half dozen for 12 dollar ish.. The crabs were cooked with butter and garlic. They tasted great!! Also I thought it was a pretty good price. We ordered clam chowder and oyster ...(some oyster soup).. Clam chowder was delicious, while the oyster soup was very sour, but my friend said it was okay. The soups were reasonably priced as well. The waitress had lovely smiles. Service was excellent. We met an elder couple from Orlando in the restaurant, who told us that they had been coming to this restaurant for about twenty years. So I guess this restaurant is well loved by a lot of people, not only me. Sadly I will have to go back to midwest soon, where I will be missing Ozzie's Crabhouse so much.I will try to go to Ozzie's again before I leave.
(5)Melissa H.
Great crabs, wonderful mussels, excellent Alfredo, fantastic gator bites and did I mention outstanding service. Melissa (AKA: Missy) is the best. Tell her Melissa sent u. :)
(5)Marlene M.
I ordered King Crab even though I felt the price was steep. The salad was dried out and not crisp. I was disappointed that the crab was soft, instead of cracking it just bent which makes it very difficult to get out of the shell. The meat was tasteless because it had sat way too long in hot water (which is why the shell was soft). The waitress disappeared and there was a lady who had her bill but no one to pay it to. She even went into the kitchen to find someone to take her money. She came out saying that there was no one in there. Another lady came in from outside dining and asked if there was anyone around to give them their bill because they were in a hurry. I told her we were waiting for our bill also but hadn't seen anyone for quite some time The first lady left her money on the counter and departed. The rest of us couldn't because we didn't know how much we owed. The only waitress on duty came back in and said she had to bartend in the other building. The owner came at that time and I told her that she had some very unhappy customers. She looked at me very blankly with no apologies. We paid our bill and left but I could see the tension on the faces of the people who had not gotten their food yet or needed something for the dinners they were eating. We will not go back

It was ok. The location and decor are Floridaish and make you feel like you are on vacation. I wanted to really love the place but it was just ok. We ordered a house salad and it was nothing special - some bagged salad mix with cheese from a bag and one slice of tomato on it. Our garlic bread came out at the same time. It was Texas toast from the grocery store. We also ordered an appetizer which was brought an immediately followed by our main dishes. I was shocked that we had NO time at all to eat our appetizer. Pet peeve of mine! I had a grouper sandwich for lunch. It was ok. It didn't come with any type of sauce - just lto on a cheap roll. I waited forever for the waitress to return to ask for sauce and salt for the fries. By the time I finally saw the waitress I had eaten 1/2 of my food. I tried to go very slowly but I was afraid that she'd never return. Very, very, very slow service. My husband had a crab cake sandwich that tasted good. We ordered the "homemade" key lime pie. In the photo it had whipped cream and looked nice. What came out was the key lime pie that you make at home with a can of sweetened condensed milk, a bottle of lime juice, egg yolks and a store bought graham cracker crust. Nothing special at all. Maybe it was homemade, but it wasn't what I'd expect at a restaurant for sure. I doubt that we'll go back. What a shame. I've been searching for a good seafood restaurant - or a good restaurant of any type - in Melbourne. We'll try another this week and hope for the best.
(2)Jamie P.
Loved this place. I have family that live close to it and every time I went to visit the kept saying "too bad Ozzies burned down" so the last time I was there and I found out they reopened I had to go. I got the garlic crab which was amazing. I know some people want to complain about the layout but I really didn't care. Great crab, great drinks and great music. Can't wait to go back!
(4)Hank G.
Whatever happened to the reasonably priced dinners? I guess they went up in smoke down in Grant. I can't see spending $18 t0 $40 a dinner in a place like this. I had the oyster sandwich $10 it came in a 25 cent hamburger roll! The floor plan is very disjointed and you food may have to travel outside before it reaches your table.

This is not a five-star fancy restaurant. I awarded five stars because of the food, atmosphere and phenomenal service. This would be an excellent feature for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It is just a local, hole-in-the wall that serves delicious seafood. My wife and I dropped in on a Sunday afternoon exploring drive over to the coast. My wife had the blackened mahi and said it was a little overdone. She used a table sauce to add a little moisture and said that it was great. I had the fries seafood platter. My fish was perfect and the shrimp was incredible. When we come back I will go straight for the shrimp platter. I also had an order of hush puppies and they were very good. I always add a smear of butter and a dollop of honey to my hush-puppies to enhance the flavor. Do not miss the cole-slaw; it has a slight vinegar flavor that is very light and refreshing. We ate out on the upstairs porch and could hear the slight strains of the live jazz music inside. It was a great setting and all the servers were friendly and helpful. They were very busy so service was delayed; for my wife and I this just added to the charm of a relaxing and enjoyable casual dining experience. Don iscome here in a rush; come to chillax and have fun. I cannot forget to mention our server, Angela. Although she was a rookie here at three weeks she was exceptionally, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the menu. Like Arnold said, "We'll be back!"
(5)Matt H.
This place was a welcomed seafood sight. Service (Skylar) was awesome. Food was fresh & so good! We ordered the Neptune's thing. Man, incredible.
(4)Elisa H.
Service was great. Food was alright. The crab cocktail was good. The salad (iceberg lettuce, a tomato wedge and cheese) was fresh. The shrimp scampi was kinda tasteless and greasy. The atmosphere was fisherman shack fun with beer cans lining the walls from across time.
(3)Ron B.
my wife and I are huge fans of pick em crabs. although the other dishes there were not give star quality, the crabs and garlic butter were the best we have ever had. service took a bit longer than we would have liked but the end result was outstanding. note to anyone that goes there, they recently changed locations and have the parking blocks right in the way of the customers foot traffic. be cautious when entering and leaving.
(4)Elishs M.
Do not waste your money! Crabs are over-cooked, chowder had tough clams and was runny, hush puppies were burnt, and Grouper was flavorless. To make it worse, server was a jerk who deserved to have his face punched in. This was our first time to this establishment and we will not be going back. If you want a real place for great crabs, try Miss Apples on Merritt Island.
(1)Jim M.
The Blackened grouper with turkey and Sassy sauce on the Ozzie Sandwich is so good. never had a bad meal there.
(5)Jennifer F.
Would give them 10 stars if I could. Great food, great service, great place, great people. So glad we stopped here would definitely recommend.
(5)Sarah M.
We wakes in, only two tables full in the entire place. Just waited 45 minutes for a fried grouper sandwich and a BLT. We had three different servers ask us if we could have been helped, food finally came and I cut my sandwich in half and proceeded to pull out a long gray hair with fish stuck on it. I didn't even get to take one bite. We walked out!! Oh, by the way, cooks were wearing open toed shoes, no sleeves and and shorts. I will never go back.
(1)Dee K.
This place is ok- def a touristy dive. They are known for their unlimited blue crabs, but they were out the night we went. They had other crab/seafood options though. I got the shrimp scampi which was served with a wine/butter sauce and garlic bread. It came with a salad, which was literally hard greens and shredded processed cheese and a quarter slice of a tomato- barely edible and missing veggies. I'd recommend they use baby greens or romain rather than the lettuce used to display food at the grocery store display cases. The shrimp scampi was good- generous portions on shrimp. Others in our party had stuffed shrimp, crab cakes, slaw, fried shrimp, chop steak, steamed seafood platters, etc. All seemed to enjoy. There was a jazz singer from NOLA singing- which added a great atmosphere and the service was decent.

This is our favorite seafood restaurant to go to in the area! We love seafood!!! We had heard about this place from a few friends so we decided to finally check it out. My family and I went on a Sunday afternoon. There was no one in the parking lot so that made we concerned at first. We walked up to the bar/smaller dining area and seated ourselves. The server was very friendly and took our drink order immediately. Once we ordered, our server came over and placed newspapers on the table and gave us all place mats. We stared off with fried gator...tender, fresh, and yummy!!! We waited another 15 minutes for our lunch, but it was well worth it. My husband and I shared a large seafood platter: blue crabs, shrimp scampi, large crab legs, and a side of loaded mashed potatoes. I ordered kids meals for both of our boys. After we stuffed ourselves we still had food to take home with us. I was amazed with how much they gave us on our tray. We spend over $30 on our plate and paid a little extra to split the tray but well worth it. I definitely want to come back and enjoy it some more.
(4)Tommy B.
They seem to be slipping. The A\C was broke, understaffed, food overcooked, long island terrible, waitress inaccurate and inattentive, maybe its the full moon. The manager did come around to check on us but I didnt have it in me today to give her all that. All that for a premium price too! Forgot to mention, no soap in the bathroom. P.s. my wife asked to wash her hands at the server station behind the bar and guess what, no soap either so it would seem the employees dont wash their hands either.

We haven't been here since they moved up from Grant. The service was spotty but good. The decor is still Florida cracker. The gumbo was great, the conch fritters real but the other dishes (different fried seafoods) were, hmmmmm, only good. Not great just OK. I'll try it again on the first Sunday evening if the ninth when Cybil plays. Hardest 3 star over ever posted.
(3)Steve O.
Had the grouper and oysters outstanding. Put several of the high end seafood places to shame although the price was a little high for the portion size but the quality was outstanding, I would go back and recommend

If you are looking for a seafood restaurant that's truly a local seafood restaurant that you can bring your friends too from out of town or even if your local you will love this place. It started off with a cold salad bowl right out of the freezer holding a delicious crisp salad, then came a hearty to die for clam chowder. The four of us sampled their prime rib, there Neptune seafood dish, their shrimp Alfredo and another dish but I can't quite remember the name but it was out of this world that had a mix of local seafood and pasta. We had homemade key lime pie for dessert that was so creamy and had the perfect tartness. It was truly an amazing meal not real fancy but a fantastic meal. I would like to add that Tara our waitress was an absolute charm.

This looked like a neat place right on the river. I ordered the mahi mahi thinking this is a seafood place so their seafood should be good-I was wrong! Mahi tasted a few days old, definitely not fresh caught. My husband had shrimp and it was OK. We sat upstairs and the kitchen was downstairs so felt sorry for the waiters having to go up and down stairs all night. Not sure if the crabs are good but on this particular night the food was not very good and the ambiance was lacking. We have not been back.

Okay listen up, this is straight information..We were there on 06-08-2015. I ordered soft shell crabs, sampler plate, clam chowder, oysters, hush puppies and drinks. We came a long way and upon reading the menu not only was it pricey it was not encouraging. I was there so I went all in.........It was terrible.....Our server was nice and trying to eek out a living, but the food was terrible....Not good, overpriced, over breaded, over cooked, but now I know, and you do too. The drinks were strong (thank goodness).......
(2)Richard N.
Went there for dinner and my wife's fish was discussing and while we waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come check on us a party must have broke out in the kitchen because a couple girls screamed and we running in there and started singing to the radio they had which was yelling profanity you could hear all over the restaurant. Will never be back.
(1)Meg ..
65cent raw oysters on Tuesdays are always fresh and a great deal. When in season, the jimmies and jumbo crabs are awesome as well.
(4)Sue S.
Yesterday was our first visit. The best crab I have ever had. Great staff. Plan to return

We arrived at 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. The place was dead, which is how we like it. By the time we left at five, things were picking up, and that was well before the musicians arrived. Ozzie's has different kinds of music every night, so you might want to call ahead if you're picky as to genre. Anyway, a cook came out into the empty dining room and assured us that they were open and quickly fetched Shelly our server (hereinafter SOS), who waited patiently while we examined half a dozen rooms and niches until Goldilocks found the table that was just right, which was in the second floor open porch. After fielding our beer questions, SOS fetched a couple of drafts, ice water, and the menus, which were bigger than some phone books. We were overwhelmed and put ourselves in SOS's hands. We started with the oysters which that night were from New Orleans. We had a dozen on the half Shell. They had a nice briny flavor though with a little less of the oyster liquor than we would have liked. These were about $13 a dozen and well worth it, though we moaned audibly when SOS informed us that the same oysters were fifty-five cents each the night before. Oh, well, it gives us a reason to return for next week's Tuesday night oyster special. For the next course, SOS recommended conch chowder and crab gumbo, warning us that they were quite spicy. This was fine with us. We got cups, saving capacity for another course. The bowls are a better deal if you can handle the quantity. In our opinion, the crab gumbo was more a soup, shouldn't have had tomatoes and should have had a roux base, but maybe we're being picky. The two dishes were indeed spicy without being ridiculous about it. While the conch was evident in my chowder and the crab was visible in my partner's creole, neither tasted very strongly of shell fish. Part of this was due to the spiciness. We both agreed more conch and more crab would have helped. Do you know anyone who ever felt that such a dish had too much seafood? I think the larger problem was that the conch and crab were probably so fresh that they were too delicate. If you're going to have a problem with fish, this is a good one to have. For our final course, SOS pretty much insisted that we get the Ozzie Sandwich, a grilled fish on garlic bread affair with a large cast of supporting ingredients, not least of which was the house made Sassy Sauce. Come to think of it, the other two courses had great house made sauces as well. We went into Ozzie's with considerable hunger. We left quite full with a Styrofoam box. The bill for everything was about $42 and would have been under thirty without the excellent drafts. We thought that the money was well spent. A friend is visiting us next Tuesday, and we plan to return for oyster night, a table covered with garlicky blue crabs, and what I think will be blue grass music. I expect good service and am no longer surprised when I get it. I think that most waiters try to do a good job. Why wouldn't they? However, Shelly's excellence deserves mention. No doubt the other servers at Ozzie's are great, too. Final note: I don't like to give five stars too freely, but four don't seem adequate. There are some people who would call Ozzie's a dive and ask how it can get five stars when I might give three stars to a $$$$$ restaurant that routinely delivers demonstrably superior meals. This is a problem that we may all have when trying to deliver fair reviews. I would submit that a dining experience at a place like Ozzie's that vastly exceeds expectations deserves five stars and that it is not inconsistent to downgrade a high end restaurant that doesn't stand out among its peers.
(5)Mary L.
This was my first visit to Ozzie's in probably 25 years and it wasn't at this location. It was at the old place in Grant that burned down. We showed up for lunch on a whim and sat on the front porch because the weather was perfect. Ozzie's is split into two different buildings both appear to be old houses. The restaurant is on one side and the bar on the other. We decided to sit on the porch but I think next time we will sit in the bar where they also serve the full menu. We started off with raw oysters and frog legs which were delicious. (I can only vouch for the oysters but the boyfriend said the frog legs were great). We both had Neptune Platters which consisted of king, snow, and dungeoness crab legs, Maryland crabs, garlic blue crabs, and shrimp. Holy Crab! It was a lot and it was good. Our server Tara was sweet and eager to please. We will definitely be back. This place is not fancy or cheap but it is damn good!
(4)Jeremy W.
Food was fresh and made with care. The staff was very friendly and our waitress was genuinely cared that we enjoyed our meal and had a great experience. The portions where huge and the price was well below what they could have charged for it. Try the Key Lime pie, one of the best I've had outside of Keys. Just go its that good.
(5)Andi H.
Does anyone actually get served a meal here?? I've been to Ozzie's twice now. The first time was maybe a year or so ago when one of my favorite local bands was going to play. It was a Sunday afternoon. Friend and I sat on upstairs on the deck in front of the band. We waited for service for a while, then asked a female server who was going back and forth between tables if we could get some help. She was very frazzled, and said something to the effect of "I have no clue . . . I just got here . . . I guess I'll do it, but you're gonna have to wait." So we waited. We finally got served . . . mediocre soup and salad. Service took forever, but figured it was just a bad day. Well, fast forward to last night. Same band was playing, so we thought we'd try to catch them. Inside room was packed, so we went right outside to the same deck from a year ago. Half the tables were set - menus and all - so we sat down. There was one other couple out there with beverages. Asked them if this was 'seat yourself' and they said, Yes it was. So we did. We sat ourselves . . . and we sat . . . and we sat . . . and we sat some more. A couple bus boys toddled by without a word. No one ever came out to check on the other couple OR our party of 3. So after sitting for 25 minutes without being acknowledged, we left. We won't be back.

Crab gumbo spicy. Tastes good but too salty. I have had better.
(2)J M.
This is the second time I've dined here. This is one of those places that looks great from the outside only to be disappointed by the food on the inside. I ordered the crab cake sandwich expecting the typical blue crab aftertaste. The taste of this sandwich had something of a bathroom taste. Don't ask me what a bathroom tastes like as I've never eaten a bathroom before but it had almost a urine taste to it. I even had my buddy taste it and he wasn't digging it. He had the Ozzie sandwich and realized afterward that fish should not be combined with turkey and bacon. I tried it without the bun. I added Tabasco. No matter what I did the taste was awful! What was even more disappointing was that the waitress didn't even ask what was wrong when she took it away. The entire crab cake was still on there! I've read other reviews on here that said this place was delicious so maybe I'm wrong. I have had delicious crab cakes and this place was not serving them. I've tried twice and that was it. I'm not one to ask for my money back as I always figure it's a lesson learned and paid for. Try if you want but there are better seafood places in the Palm Bay/Melbourne area I would go back to before here.

Iama Critic Rating - Ozzie's Crabhouse - 5 Stars 4391 Dixie Hwy Ne, Palm Bay, FL Overall: The last month has been a huge review month for Chef Iama Critic. I have been traveling a lot and visiting dozens of restaurants up and down the east coast, from Hilton Head, SC down to West Palm Beach, FL. And now it is time to tell you about one of my greatest seafood experiences of all time, and it happened at Ozzie's Crabhouse. For years my sister and I have traveled down to Florida to go fishing. And on the rare occasions that we are not on the boat, we go out to eat. But I dread going out for seafood because, as a chef, and a person who has traveled to New Orleans on numerous occasions just to eat, I know exactly what exceptional seafood should taste like, and it is nearly impossible to find a seafood restaurant that has any idea how to cook seafood without totally destroying it. But my sister was dying for soft shell crab, so it was with great trepidation that I drove all the way to Ozzie's Crabhouse. Well at least I drove to where my GPS said it was prior to the fire that burned the place down. But when we arrived at the new location we heard lots of really load music, so we requested an outside table way in the back. Wanting to treat my sister to something special, I sorta went nuts on the menu and ordered over $150.00 worth of soft shell crabs, blue crabs, crab legs, crabs claws, and several different crab samplers. All for just two people! LOL Our awesome waiter, and I truly mean AWESOME, had seemed to have had a rough day, but he made our experience fabulous. When ALL our food arrived, our table was literally packed with seafood delights. We could not help but to take pictures and video of this fabulous meal. I used to live on Chesapeake Bay and never have I seen such huge soft shell crabs, 6" from tip to tip, and they were perfectly cooked. Lightly crispy, not soggy or greasy, and could be picked up and eaten in one piece with your hands! Phenomenal! And the half dozen different kinds of crabs we sampled were all perfectly prepared. It was a meal fit for a king! I wish I could remember our waiter's name so I could give him the credit he deserves. All I know is that he was a rather stout black gentleman and he made our evening a blast; he was funny, enjoyable and attentive. Heck, I dream of someday cooking for him and his whole family! And at the end of our evening he literally told us not to leave a tip! He said he had nothing but miserable customers until we came in and made his whole day. Well, as kind as his suggestion was, we weren't about to stiff him on a $150+ ticket, so we gave him 50% for making us laugh all night. That is right, I gave my waiter $75.00 for waiting on two people for a couple of hours! Never have I given a waiter such a huge tip, but it was a privilege. And I wondered, why can't all waiters be like him??? Seriously, why not? It was a win, win for everyone, and we all had fun! Unfortunately, I will never, ever go back to Ozzie's, not because they are not a good restaurant, but because I believe there is no way on Earth a restaurant could ever serve a meal like that twice in a lifetime, and I simply want to remember that night just the way it was, absolute and total seafood perfection served by the greatest waiter I have ever met!

Have had many experiences here... Tuesdays i like the 55cent wings, oysters, and clams.... The shellfish and crab are always good quality. Also, they allow us to bring our dog in the outside area which is nice. However, their regular menu items are overpriced, and the service is slow. To go orders are frequently done incorrectly. Come for the crab and shellfish, but dont expect much else
(2)Jen B.
Stopped here for dinner because it seemed like a neat place from the outside. Not a fancy restaurant. Drinks came pretty quick but after that service was pretty slow. Took a long time for the waitress to come ask us for our orders. I wanted the Conch Chowder which she said was pretty spicy so she was going to get a sample to try first, which was nice of her. But it took way too long...I was ready to order something else just to get an order in. She came back with the sample (She mixed 1/2 conch chowder 1/2 clam chowder) which was actually pretty good. I then ordered the rest of my food- just 2 side orders of Vegetables & Mashed Potatoes. Veggies were fine, potatoes were cold and bland. OK Place to try but probably won't come back.

My wife and I visited Ozzy's today for our anniversary, because we were in the mood for all you can eat crabs. I called and made reservations, however when we arrived there was no where to meet a host, just several entrances leading into the restaurant . We flagged down a waitress to ask where we were to sit, she told us anywhere, including upstairs. "One of us will find you" is what we were told.. Once we chose a seat it took approximately 10 minutes to get noticed by a staff member. Originally we wanted to sit outside to enjoy the weather. However, after dusk we noticed it became pretty dark. We had to flag the waiter and ask him if their were any lights. He turned on a couple of Christmas lights, and a beer sign. Needless to say we requested to sit inside. The all you can eat blue crab were decent. I can't say they were fresh, but they weren't terrible. The service over all was below average. Our waiter wad kind, however seemed overworked. The atmosphere was surprisingly entertaining because we apparently showed up on karaoke night; so listening to old drunk people sing elvis was fun. After 2 drinks, and 2 all you can eat crabs, including a tip was $83. I'd probably have to be invited to return. I don't think I would come back on my own.

I was soooooo disappointed! I have heard nothing but great things about Ozzie's and we walked away with a bad taste in our mouth! It wasn't busy when we went in there, yet service was extremely slow. I ordered the Stuffed Shrimp and my wife ordered the crab cakes. Now there is a LOT of food, but the quality was less than desired. The Stuffed shrimp were stuffed with the crab cake mix (which weren't stuffed, it was crab cake on the top of the shrimp.) The crab cake was HORRIBLE! Both the crab cake in my shrimp and my wife's meal. We talked with the waitress and she brought out my wife some basa fish instead. The fish was very good. Wish we would have gotten that to start with. The waitress didn't charge us for the basa, but we were still charged for the meal. She also brought out my wife some free pie to take with us. One day I may try it again, maybe they just had a bad batch of "crab cake" mixture.

We ate here last week. Shelly our server was awesome, if a bit overwhelmed - she was running between the deck where we were and the inside dining room where there were a couple of large parties. For the price and the amount of food you get, it's worth it. A friend and I split the Neptune platter - delicious crabs and shrimp. I made a mess and probably needed a shower after leaving. Everything was great. The oysters were excellent - salty and briny.

Sunday night dinner. And we had the king crab legs. Very good. The seating is a bit choppy but it works. Great tasting key line pie. A must.

We are from Seattle. We've been coming to Ozzie's ever since Disney opened a vacation club at Vero Beach. The old place was at Grant, Fl. Was only 20 mins away, their new location is now 35 mins away... But that didn't stop us. We're only here at Vero for 3 nights, and two nights in a row we were there! The happy hour beer on tap was only $1.50. I had 4 of their jumbos the first night and it was so delicious. The 2nd night I had a boat run (1 dozen ) of Jimmy's. I can only eat 8. So satisfying! We sat outside at the top with live entertainment. My husband had the all you eat fish fry with sweet potatoe fries. He was full after two pieces. (11.99 on Fri). 3 beers, 12 garlic crabs, all you can eat fish... $43 before tip. If you go check out the bar downstairs, there's a Beer can collection on the wall ... Friendly atmosphere! Highly recommended!

My Maryland Crab expert girl was happy, so it means this place is good. Garlic Wings with chunk garlic and Peanut Butter pie was excellent. We will be back.

My buddy and I went last night, we had the pleasure of shellys service. We both had the crab jumbo which though spicy was flavorful was thick with crab meat. He had lightly steamed oysters which went down like butta... I had stuffed shrimp. Was surprised to see that the stuffing was crab based, not just breading. Looking forward to going back for the entertainment and the all you can eat crab. Thank you, Shelly for helping our first visit a great one.

Had dinner with a friend who recommended Ozzie's. I started with Oysters which were very good. For an entree I had the sauteed soft shell crabs. They were good, but I've had better. My wife had the dungenees crabs which she thought were the best she's ever eaten. The price is a little high, but the quality of the crabs and the service made me give this place 4 stars.

Had a great meal with the family and our server Shelly was the best. The doz crabs With old bay was just like I've had back in Maryland. Good stuff.

I would rate this place 3.5 stars I had the crabcake sandwhich , fried but I would reccomend grilled the next time (my friend got grilled and they looked much more delicious). The crabcakes were awesome. A great example of how keeping seafood simple is the way to go. Jumbo lump crabmeat lightly seasoned; mmm. The waiter was nice and split the check with no problem (he even asked beforehand which I rarely experience outside of Gainesville) Downside: as mentioned in the previous review the layout is weird. There appears to be an outside upstairs patio where live bands play, but it wasn't immediately obvious how to get there. The two floors are a little awkward. It would be nice if they played a little background music in the indoor rooms, the dining area was a little quiet (like akward quiet). There is no happy hour and the beer selection is limited although reasonably priced. The food was very good and I will return

I used to go to Ozzie's all the time when they were located in the old place. Was extremely distraught when I learned it had burned down. I didn't even know they had reopened in Palm Bay, but was delighted when I, accidentally, discovered it had reopened in Palm Bay. I go to this place for the crabs. Period. I've never ordered anything else. They're good. Being a fella who was raised on New Orleans seafood, my tastes are pretty discriminating. They ain't New Orleans crabs, but they're the best I've found in Central Florida. Oh, and ask for Pam. A real firecracker. She'll serve ya up just fine.
